I have been compensated by QVC for this post. I was also gifted the It Cosmetics New Year, Your Most Beautiful Skin Collection by QVC.
One of the things I like to do at the start of every new year is get organized. I started going through my skincare collection and I noticed that I have quite a varied assortment of skincare from many different brands. They all serve a unique purpose and I can’t say that I’m partial to any one over another. The one thing they mostly seem to have in common is that I had gotten quite a few of them from QVC. They carry so many brands and different types of skincare, and they’re always offering amazing deals and special offers. If you’ve never ordered from QVC before, you MUST take advantage of the $10 off your first purchase with the code TEN4U. And in case you needed some ideas of what to order….here are a few:
Peter Thomas Roth Meet Your Mask Kit with Mask Tasker Tool
If you’re looking for a very budget friendly way to explore this brand and get SIX masks to play with, then you can’t go wrong with this set. This was actually the first PTR product I purchased, and I’ve gone on to purchase many more, including…
Peter Thomas Roth Mask-A-Holic 7 Piece Set
This is the same concept as the above set, except the mask sizes are quite a bit larger. You can get quite a few uses out of each mask, and the more deluxe size also makes this a great gift that you can break up and give to a few people (it’s not too early to start thinking about the holidays)!
Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Gel Mask
After getting a few of the mask sets, I have also purchased the full-sized individual masks. One of my favorites that is gentle enough for me to use everyday if I was so inclined is the Rose Stem Cell Gel Mask. It’s great for my dry skin, and if you want an extra morning wake-up, keep this in the refrigerator and apply in the morning. It feels GREAT on a hot summer morning!
Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Honey Mask
I have dry skin, so sometimes charcoal masks don’t work well for me. However, this mask also has honey in it which means it’s perfect for my skin type. There is another version (click here) that’s better for more oily skin as well.
StriVectin Powerlift Instant Tightening Mask
I’ve talked about this one before-it literally feels like it’s sucking your face back into place. I’d like to think that gravity is not working against me, but it is. I use this one in the morning after I’ve had a long night!
Skyn Iceland Set of 8 Eye Gels & Eye Cream
Speaking of long nights…I am never without these eye gels! I always keep a set in my travel bag too. These are the best eye masks I’ve ever tried for the eye area and making me look more awake. What I really like is that they aren’t overly “gooey”, so they don’t leave a ton of residue on my face when I’m done.
Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray Thirsty Skin Relief
I keep this out on my bathroom vanity. I spritz my face with it after I wash it, especially if I’m jumping in the shower next. It keeps my skin feeling moisturized and fresh feeling before I move on to apply the rest of my skincare later. It’s also great as a little pick me up later on in the day when I’m feeling a little tired-and my skin is showing it!
First Aid Beauty Coconut Priming Moisturizer
I haven’t actually tried this, but the whole beauty universe is abuzz about this product. I haven’t had the best of luck with traditional primers, but I feel like this one would work well with my dry, somewhat sensitive skin. Have any of you used this? What do you think?
QVC is also offering a great deal on a little bundle from It Cosmetics. I love these deals because not only do you save quite a bit of money over buying the products individually, but they usually include a good variety of items so you can either stock up on favorites or try out some new products you may have had your eye on. In this case, the It Cosmetics New Year, Your Most Beautiful Skin Collection includes the Confidence in a Neck Cream, Confidence in a Gel Lotion, Bye Bye Lines Foundation, and Heavenly Luxe Plush Paddle Foundation Brush. I’m really excited to try out the Confidence in a Neck Cream, because I am VERY guilty of bending my head down constantly to look at a computer screen, a laptop, my iPad, iPhone, or even a good old-fashioned book. I’ve gotten to the point where I can’t ignore what’s happening below my chin, and I think this cream is going to be perfect for me.
I haven’t tried the Bye Bye Lines Foundation past swatching it on my wrist and face (Fair was a PERFECT match!!), but I’m excited about how it blended into my skin and I’m VERY excited about the ingredients list. It’s infused with peptides, caviar extract, and hydrolyzed collagen, and it also says it has caviar extract and sea water. Does that remind you of another favorite foundation of mine? I can’t wait to put it to the test!
You can get the whole It Cosmetics New Year, Your Most Beautiful Skin Collection now for under $70 (plus shipping and handling), but if you bought everything separately it would be $174! That’s quite a savings! One more thing-if you order now through January 12th, they’re offering free shipping too!
Did anything I mention catch your eye? Do you have any skincare faves from QVC? The brands I mentioned are just a drop in the bucket-which ones do you want to hear more about next time?
Marnie, I love QVC and purchase from them as well. Although this question is not regarding that , which Aveda salon do you go to in S.A. ? I want to get my mother in law a gift certificate to go there soon. Also what colorist do you use , my mother in law needs a good colorist too. Thanks & lots of ♡ MaryAnn Lamb in Tx.
