Happy New Year!! Get Ready With Me for NYE
Happy New Year!!! Welcome to 2017!!
Now that we have that out of the way…some blog posts are well thought and planned. This is not one of them. At the last minute as I was getting ready to go out last night for New Year’s Eve, I decided to prop a camera up on top of my foundation bottles and film the process. For those of you unfamiliar with the concept, these are known as “Get Ready With Me” or GRWM videos. Since I planned this so well, I even forgot to film the final bit where I did my hair, put on lipstick, and actually changed out of my pajamas. However, I did manage to get a good bit of chit-chat in, a couple of resolutions/goals for 2017, and a discussion of how I lost some weight in the latter part of 2016 (a lot of you have noticed, thank you!). The original video was just over 43 minutes long and included me shouting at Rowdy, shouting at Mimi, a fair bit of cursing as Rowdy yanked the makeup mirror plug out of the wall and then ripped my scrunchy off my head when I bent over to fix said makeup mirror AND Michael deciding to use the toilet behind me in the middle of the video. Thankfully, I cut all that out and got it down to a somewhat manageable 25 minutes.
