Where Are They Now? August 2010 Favorites

Where Are They Now videos/posts have truly become my favorite videos/posts to make.  It seems that the Internet is all about the now, now, now and we rarely take a moment to pause and reflect on where we’ve been.  These posts force me to do that and I love it!! I had to go really back in time this month…a time so prehistoric that HD video did not exist!!  Look at that screenshot on the left-to think that was the height of technology back in the day!  So now that we’ve established that one major change from 2010 was the advent of HD video, let’s see what else has changed!  Here’s a look at my August 2010 Favorites, and we’ll see where are they now!

Let’s set the stage first-you have to remember that when the original was filmed, I was making videos for less than a month.  This video (click HERE to watch the original) was maybe my 3rd or 4th video I had ever made.  Yikes!  I didn’t even have enough products for a monthly video, since I hadn’t been paying attention for that long yet!  So I listed my top 7 products for summer.  They were:

–discontinued, and in it’s place I use the

*Prestige Waterproof Eyeliner in EW 01 Blackz
–now I’m using or

–still in use, but I also really love the

*Incolor by Jordana Pretty Shine Luxury Gloss in Babe
–not a lip gloss fan anymore, but I LOVE the

*Sinful Colors nail polish in Mint Apple
— in my collection but I can’t find it online

–still available in stores but I’ve been really enjoying the Tarte Brazilliance Self-Tanner lately
