A patriotic weekend THIRTEEN years ago!!
For most Americans, the last weekend in May is a three-day weekend filled with family, friends, picnics, trips to the beach or lake and, of course, some great sales. I plan to relax with my little family and enjoy having the kids home from school for a few days. I also plan to spend some time in front of my computer surfing the sales in the peace and air-conditioned quiet of my own home. But before I get to all the fun, I do want to take a moment to remember why we all have the freedom to do these things. This freedom came at the ultimate price for so many, and we should all take a moment to remember them and what they gave up to give us so much.
