My Everyday Makeup Heroes

One of the hazards of doing what I do for a living is that I often get sucked into the trap of wanting to use the latest, prettiest, most innovative new makeup products, but there is a set list of products that I really don’t deviate from using on a daily basis. I like to call them my Everyday Makeup Heroes because they do what they’re supposed to do, they’re incredibly dependable, and they don’t really change from look to look. I’ll obviously rotate eyeshadows, lipsticks and blushes, but these foundations, concealers, powders, brushes, eyeliners and the like are out on my makeup counter every morning. I have a selection from the drugstore to the department store. They’ve been repurchased over and over, dragged across the world on my travels, and frankly never get the recognition they deserve.
