TOMSxBonobos Collaboration | Dressing Up The Hubby

When it comes to awkwardly posing in front of the camera in the family, it’s been my job over the last eight years to give it a go. So you can only imagine how excited I was when reached out to me to see if I would be interested in promoting their new this spring. I have admired men’s clothing for YEARS, but it has been almost impossible to get my wonderful husband Michael out of his usual golf attire. While they do have a , I thought this is my chance to spice up Michael’s wardrobe just a little bit!! Although I think you’ll see from the pictures that he still has golf top of mind!

With Michael’s input, we selected two shirts and a pair of shorts to go with his new . The shoes are a inspired by Bonobos’ popular . Of the four options, he thought the chambray/canvas print would work with most of his current wardrobe and would be a great fit for the warmer season coming up. Since most of Michael’s current clothing is khaki, black, grey or blue, I pushed for a pop of color and we got it in these . I also convinced him that it is 2018 and it’s time to get some shorts that are above the knee! What we both really liked about these , aside from the multitude of colors and prints you can choose from are the four different inseam lengths! Michael went for a 7″ inseam in the Quartz Pink color.

Aside from the comfort and style of the TOMSxBonobos shoes, it is also nice to know that with every pair of shoes you purchase, another pair is given to a child in need. I love the idea of pairing philanthropy with shopping! Michael said he likes that he can easily slip these shoes on and off-which makes them great to wear to the golf course! Michael!! Does it always have to be about golf?!

It doesn’t always have to be about golf-sometimes it can be about football!! Our oldest son, Jake, goes to the University of Mississippi, and their new mascot is the Land Shark. Note the tiny little sharks all over the ? Now Michael is ready for some tailgating this fall in The Grove! I don’t care which sport he manages to associate the with, but I am excited he’s finally trying a “new” (to him) trend-NOT tucking in his shirt! It’s easy to do with these , because they come in three different fits (slim, tailored and standard) as well as three lengths (short, regular and long). Michael went with the slim fit, short length on this so they will lay right when not tucked in.

I could NOT get him to quit playing around with the ball!!

We decided to switch things up a bit and go with a softer weight, but . I love the relaxed fit on him yet it still looks tailored. This one is PERFECT for an upcoming date night!! Again, he ordered this one in the slim fit, short length.

The linen shirt is so comfortable that not only could he get in some swings with the club, I caught him trying to sleep in it!!

Michael is very talented at bouncing that little golf ball on the club and he would NOT stop doing it during the shoot!!

I’d say we successfully broke him out of his clothing rut! Thank you to Bonobos for this fun opportunity to get Michael on the other side of the camera! I love how he looks in his new clothes and I’d say that Michael feels pretty good in them as well! Did anything from the collection catch your eye?
