Traveling With T3
Most people say that they love to travel, but I would not be one of them. That’s not entirely true-once I arrive at my destination, I am thrilled to be wherever it is that I am. But I am one of those people that gets a bit anxious at the thought of packing up my stuff in anticipation of all the possibilities, the contingencies, the “what-ifs” that may arise while I am not at home with my arsenal of products and comforts of home.

I’m not necessarily an overpacker, but I do like to have options, whether it’s a few extra outfits, two or three more eyeshadow palettes, or every hair tool I own. This can lead to a very heavy suitcase, especially when I try very hard to limit myself to carry-on luggage only. So while it’s essential for me to be able to pare down what I’m bringing as far as size and weight go, I still need to be able to count on my products to do their job well (which helps with my travel anxiety). Enter the , which has been my loyal travel companion for many, many years now.
When I’m at home, I rely on the full-size version T3 Hair Dryer to blow dry my hair, but for travel I never leave home without the . First there’s the obvious-it’s not only compact, i.e. “travel-size” but it actually folds into itself to make for a much smaller footprint in your luggage. Of course, that also makes it incredibly lightweight and easy to handle when styling my hair. However, don’t let the size fool you-it packs quite a punch and dries hair very effectively. It’s also incredibly quiet, which is nice when the whole family is crammed in one hotel room and everyone is on their last nerve. It has two heat settings and a cool-shot button, which I love to use once my hair is fully dry to help “set” the style, especially when I’m round-brushing a blow-out.
A few other fun facts about the -it has a scratch resistant surface, which is helpful for those of us who are not too careful when tossing it into a full suitcase among souvenirs, shoes, toiletries, etc (my suitcase will never make it into one of those “organized pack with me” videos), it has dual voltage, which is great for the world travellers reading this, and, the best part…it’s currently on sale on for $99 starting today and going through November 4th. It normally retails for $150 so that’s a great savings and it’s perfect timing before you start on your holiday travels. It comes in white or black with rose gold metallic accents or black with purple metallic accents, so the hardest choice you’ll have to make is which color to choose?

Thank you to for sponsoring today’s post. I have been compensated for this post but as always, all opinions are my own.
How quiet is this hairdryer? That is my husbands number one complaint when we travel. Thank you.
It’s more quiet than other hair dryers I’ve used, but it’s still going to generate some noise.
I confess to having purchased this dryer from Sephora and returning it. I travel overseas several times a year and it is just too heavy and takes up too much room in a suitcase. Even in your picture above, it takes up a lot of the suitcase room. When you are limited on weight going overseas, every ounce counts. I found a tiny BaBylissPro that dries like an 1875 and weighs next to nothing. I also found a tiny curling iron. Those two items plus travel sized Living Proof products all go together in a little bag in a corner of my suitcase and take up less room and less weight than the T3 Travel dryer alone. May not work for everyone, but it works great for me.
I don’t ALWAYS sleep with it wet, and I never do when I travel. Obviously I don’t love drying my hair because it takes a long time so when I do dry my hair I want to use a dryer that’s as efficient as possible.
