Last month I did a video on current favorites from Walmart and one of the newest and most used items was the new . In case you missed the video, let me catch you up on why I love it so much (and why it has replaced my other razors). First of all, it’s a darn good razor. It comes with 5 blades, which gives a nice close shave, but those 5 blades are on a very small head, which guarantees an incredibly close shave AND makes the razor able to get into all the nicks and crannies-knees, ankles, bikini lines, armpits-shaving is a full contact sport! The handle is slim and comes in two fun colors, pink and teal, and the handle is functional. It has a tacky grip to it which makes it much easier and safer to use in the shower. If that isn’t enough for you, there’s the price. One Joy razor comes with 2 razor blades for under $9. It’s very budget friendly!

I personally bought the , along with the and haven’t looked back. I found that the foamed up very nicely, had a light, pleasant scent, and didn’t clog up the blades while shaving, which was a nice bonus. But I did notice that the blades were getting dull a little sooner than I thought would happen. I figured I’d get a good month out of one razor blade before I moved on to the second blade in the package. I happened to mention this to my husband over dinner one evening, and he got a very strange look on his face. That’s when he confessed-HE’S BEEN USING MY RAZOR TO SHAVE HIS FACE IN THE SHOWER EVERY MORNING!!

Apparently, the didn’t scare him off, and when he saw it in the shower, he noticed the smaller head, the 5 blades. the lubricating strip, and the non-slip handle and figured it would be great to use on his beard. He said he’s never had a closer, smoother shave and that he hasn’t had any sign of razor burn or rashes. He hasn’t even felt the need to use his regular aftershave since using the Joy razors.
