Attending A Blogger Conference

Many of you know that I use affiliate links (read my policy ) and because of your amazing support, I was able to attend the annual rewardStyle conference in Dallas this month.  This is quite an honor for a blogger/YouTuber, because invitations are based on performance from the previous year.  I am forever grateful for not only all of your support, but also to Amber Venz Box and her husband, Baxter Box, the president and CEO of rewardStyle,  for creating a way for (mostly) women to be able to make a real living while still being able to be at home with their families.

Of course it’s fun to get away from the usual routine and attend glamorous parties with beautiful people, but my favorite part of the conference every year is to make new friends in the blogging world and reunite with old ones.  All of the women I’ve encountered are intelligent, strong, creative, successful, and most importantly, kind.  Blogging and making YouTube videos is a strange and somewhat lonely business, and it’s so refreshing to attend this conference and get real, tangible ideas and help from my colleagues.
