New Beauty Launches / Benefit / Clinique / Soap & Glory
This month saw a few new beauty launches show up on my doorstep-one was the most fabulous presentation I’ve ever seen in my life (thank you Benefit)! To see all the products up close and personal (and in action), you should watch the video HERE or click below if your browser allows it:
Otherwise, keep reading for a quick run down of what’s new in beauty this month!

There are three new body sprays from , and they’re perfect for summer. They’re reminiscent of the Victoria’s Secret Body Sprays-very lightweight, fresh, and lightly scented. The little bottles are perfect to throw in a purse or beach bag. The is a great find for the summer. It adds a very subtle tint to your skin, without the opacity and heavy coverage of the (also a personal favorite). It held up very well for me, and didn’t rub off on my sheets when I went to bed with it still on my legs!
Clinique Uplighting Illuminating Powder
This newest release from Clinique is exclusive to Sephora (for now). It’s best described as a hybrid between the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder and It Cosmetics CC+ Pressed Powder or Mac MSF Natural. I think it’s best used as an all-over setting powder (for reference I use Shade 01), but Clinique says it can be used as a strobing powder or highlighter. Maybe if you have a darker skin tone you can pull that off, but even the lightest shade is not light enough for fairer skin tones to use as a highlighter. I tried using the darkest shade as a bronzer but it came off too orange and too opaque for that on me.
And finally, the product launch to end all product launches…
There are TEN new or at least newly packaged beauty products, as well as three new tools. In the interests of saving time, let’s just jump to which ones I think are must haves. My favorites from the launch include the with its angled tip (similar to the Hourglass Brow Arch) but with better pigment transfer and long wear, the (similar to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz), the (I don’t personally use powder anymore, but for those who do this is the ultimate kit with everything you need) and the new tweezers, which include a grooming brush attached to the top (a pretty nifty little perk). The rest are either not exactly awe-inspiring or downright head scratchers. Highlighter for your brow hairs (3D Browtones)—are they serious?
However, I do understand that everyone has different tastes, so scroll through below for a look at all the new brow releases from Benefit:
