By far the best thing about the past month has been Vlogtober!  If you missed it, I uploaded a vlog EVERY DAY for the entire month of October-watch the playlist here!  It was definitely a fair bit of work, but the opportunity to interact with you all every day was far and away worth it.  I will do it again soon…so keep an eye on my channel for more!

As far as products went, there was quite an emphasis on the face-whether it was skincare, prep, or face products, with a few other goodies thrown in!

FACE PRODUCTS
I added a couple of skin care products into my regular routine.  For a more affordable moisturizer, I’ve really been loving the with peptides and diamond dust.  I think it’s great for all skin types and perfect for oily skins as we get into the drier months.  On the other end of the price spectrum, I’ve been using the .  It’s a great mud mask that’s not too drying on aging skin like mine.

Skindinavia was a big hit-both their and have completely transformed all my foundations into long-wearing without clogging my pores! Here’s a little tip: spray a brush with the and use it to pat in your undereye concealer-it won’t budge, crease, and it will last forever!

The other face products were all makeup, and they are all game-changers for my makeup routine.  The new is a perfect everyday, buildable coverage foundation that gives a natural finish to the skin but does a great job of evening out the tone.  A GRWM featuring the foundation will be coming soon!  The other favorite face product is the new .  It’s an all-in-one kind of product-I’ve been using it to contour, highlight, and do my eyes.  It’s currently unavailable on the , but keep checking, because it will probably be restocked in time for the annual VIB sale starting this Friday!

The other standout is the .  If you’re a highlighter junkie, this is a must have for your collection.  It would be beautiful on a variety of skin tones and adds a nice bit of warmth to my already winter pale skin.  I’ve also been using it as a lid color on my eyes.

ALL THE REST
My other favorites included the new which aren’t liquid at all, but are incredibly creamy, pigmented, long-lasting non-transferable traditional pencil eyeliners, if by traditional you mean you sharpen them manually. Aside from the aforementioned qualities, they also come in a variety of gorgeous colors.
