The Weekly Vlog 2016 | Edition #24 | Shallow & Pale

Does anyone else think that the photo above (click on it if you want to watch the actual video) looks like we were all Photoshopped into it? I assure you that we were all there for that selfie, in fact, we were sitting right in front of the San Fernando Cathedral in the Main Plaza in downtown San Antonio. Three nights a week, the historic Cathedral is turned into a giant canvas for an art installation featuring a laser light show and music.  It’s really something to see and if you’re ever here for a visit, I encourage you to check it out.  You can get more information about San Antonio: The Saga here.

The major highlight of the week was what you didn’t see in the vlog-Michael and I were invited by the newly remodeled La Cantera Hill Country Resort and Spa to stay for two nights and enjoy all the amenities they had to offer as their guests.  Did I mention they have TWO 18 hole golf courses?  Michael was in heaven!  It really was quite a treat to get away without actually leaving San Antonio.  There was so much to show you that I decided to make a separate vlog out of it, so make sure you’re subscribed to my YouTube channel so you won’t miss it!

Of course, I couldn’t go without mentioning the –it finally opened to the general public and I have to admit that a great deal of my time this past week has been spent in front of my computer, perusing what was on sale and what I thought would be good to recommend to you.  If you still haven’t hit the sale, you have through August 7th to get your fill of it!  I’m sure you’re sick of hearing about it, but it really is that great!  If you’ve used my links to purchase something from the sale, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you.  It means more to me than you can ever understand that you trust my judgement, that you like my recommendations, and that you’ve shown your support for me and my work by choosing to use those links.  Thank you so much!!
