The Weekly Vlog 2016 // Edition #18

What a week!!! As you can see from the above picture, the culmination of the week’s vlog (and frankly, the last 18 years of my life) happened last Sunday when Jake graduated cum laude (with honors) from high school.  That’s what the black cord hanging around his neck means, and the white shawl indicates that he is a member of the National Honor Society.  It was a great day for my whole family, especially since my mom, dad and aunt all flew in for the occasion.  Way to go Jake-now on to even bigger and better things!!

I also started this week’s vlog with a personal milestone-my YouTube channel hit 70,000 subscribers.  Why is this a big deal to me?  Because that number represents 70,000 beautiful, intelligent, funny, kind, supportive, creative, generous, caring, wonderful women (mostly) who have chosen to spend some of their precious free time with me.  I do not take that honor lightly, and I appreciate each and every one of you.  I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again-you all are the best friends I’ve never met!

We continued to have bizarre weather in San Antonio, but it looks like the rain is gone (for now).
