2015 Beauty Favorites
I absolutely love filming “Favorites” videos, so to film the ultimate–the best of the best of the year–is a true joy. I went through every single one of my “Monthly Favorites” videos from 2015 and picked the items that stood out the most for me. Every Monday in January I will feature another “Best of 2015” on my YouTube channel and here on the blog, so don’t forget to subscribe to both of them if you haven’t done so already!
I broke down my beauty favorites into categories–eyes, lips, and face products. If you want pictures, please watch the video!
EYES
If you own this palette, you can make any other eyeshadow (or palette) work for you. This will replace your Naked Basics collection (and at under $7, that’s quite a bargain)!

I wore these two palette pretty much non-stop once I got them. I still “slightly” favor the original over the Semi-Sweet, but they’re both worth having in your makeup drawer.
THIS IS THE BEST EYESHADOW PRIMER. Drugstore, high-end, it doesn’t matter. This one wins the gold star.
They’re creamy, they’re pigmented, they glide on like silk, and once they’re set, they don’t budge. It’s hard to pick one color!

If I only could use one brand for mascara for the rest of my life, it would be Clinque. They just keep getting better & better!
LIPS
in , Cherry Pop and Sweet Pop
I was very lucky to be introduced to this line before they were released back in January 2015, and the love affair hasn’t ended. Now I’m trying to get my hands on the new UK-only released colors!
Butter London Bloody Brilliant Lip Crayon-Teddy Boy
This product is the ultimate “my lips but better shade” AND you don’t need a mirror to apply it. The formula is creamy, a bit glossy, and stays FOREVER on the lips. Another favorite shade is Lady Bird-don’t skip the bright shades!
FACE
This foundation is my go-to for any special occasion, any time I’m going to be photographed, really just about anytime. It’s a godsend for those with dry skin, has a satin finish, covers well, doesn’t break me out, and lasts a long time.
Revlon PhotoReady Airbrushed Foundation
I prefer a dewy, satin finish, but I want good coverage and long-lasting wear on my face. This foundation ticks all those boxes and then some.
It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream
2015 was the year I discovered this brand, and I’m so glad I did. There is not a better summer skin base than this one. It covers incredibly well, has SPF 50, and lasts all day.
When I choose a concealer, I want great coverage, but I struggle with it then going on too cakey or not being buildable throughout the day. This concealer is magical-it does everything I want it to do!
Becca x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Pressed Powder in Champagne Pop
If there is one makeup product that can transform a look from pretty to polished, it’s highlighter. This highlighter is so versatile, so glowy, and the most skin flattering shade I’ve seen. It’s not for the timid, but I never skip it!
I’ve moved away from contouring with a bronzer and just using it to warm up my face. For about 9 months out of the year, this is my favorite bronzer. It’s never streaky and it really warms up my skin.
When my skin is at its fairest, this is the only bronzer I’ve found that will warm up my face, add a glow, and not make me look orange.
Clinique Cheek Pops
If you’re new to using blush or afraid of being too heavy-handed with your makeup, these blushes are for you. They give a lovely wash of translucent color that looks great on every skin tone. Heather Pop, Nude Pop, and Ginger Pop are my most used shades for 2015.
