Origins Three Part Harmony Collection
As a newly married woman 24-year old woman, one of the gifts my mother-in-law gave me was a jar of Origins A Perfect World moisturizer and this little nugget of advice—take good care of your skin; you’ll thank me later.
Almost twenty years later and now a woman solidly in my 40’s, I’ve finally realized that she was right. I wish I hadn’t taken my glowing, firm, clear skin for granted when I had it. I don’t know if it’s just the general aging process, or the result of not drinking enough water, not getting enough sleep or the mind-boggling amount of worry and anxiety that comes with parenting teenagers, but I have noticed lately that my face had become dull and tired looking. I think I take great care of my skin, but it needed a little something extra.
I decided to give the new Origins Three Part Harmony collection a trial run to see if it could help. There are two products in the collection-a serum and a moisturizer, and I’ve been using them daily to see if they could make a change in the appearance of my skin. The aim of both products is to renew, repair and increase radiance (hence the three-part harmony) in the skin, particularly for more mature women.
The moisturizer, also referred to as a nourishing cream, comes in a jar with a wooden lid, which I thought was a very nice touch. It has a thick consistency, and a little goes quite a long way. You don’t need a lot to cover your whole face, but it does require a bit more effort to spread everywhere due to the thicker consistency. I found that although the instructions say you can use it morning and evening, the nourishing cream worked better for me if I only used it at night. I found that it absorbed well and the dry flakes around my nose that I usually have disappeared almost immediately.
The stand-out of the collection for me was the . I found the packaging to be both unique and very user-friendly. It’s basically a glass bottle with a large stopper-like top. You use the top/built in pipette to squeeze out two-three drops of the , which is to be applied after you wash your face and before you put on moisturizer. I LOVE the scent of the -it has an herbal/citrus like scent that is so incredibly pleasant. It wakes me up in the morning and relaxes me in the evening. Scent aside, there’s something about this that just made my skin…perk up. I’ve been using it morning and evening, and my skin glows like it never has before. The dullness is gone, the dry patches have disappeared, and friends, family, and YouTube subscribers have noticed a difference!
So while I may not be able to go back in time and get my under-appreciated, young glowing skin back, I have heeded my mother-in-law’s advice and am taking good care of it. With the Origins Three Part Harmony Collection, I definitely got my glow back!
