Sephora Beauty Insider Appreciation Event

Sephora Beauty Insider Appreciation EventMost of the beauty obsessed (if you’re reading this I assume you are one of them) are well aware of two big Beauty Insider Events-the 15% off VIB Sale in April and the 20% off VIB Sale in November (slightly lower numbers for VIB and BI’s). But I was totally blind-sided when the news came out recently that had revamped their Beauty Insider program and to celebrate it, they were having another Event this month! VIB Rouge members will be able to get 20% off their purchases August 24th-September 3rd, and VIB and BI members will be able to shop the sale August 30th-September 3rd, saving 15% and 10% respectively. The codes are as follows: VIB Rouge=YESROUGE, VIB=YESVIB, and BI=YESINSIDER. Codes can only be used one time online but as much as you’d like for in-store purchases.

If you’re interested in learning more about what’s changed with the , I’d recommend heading over to their where they break it down. They’ve also hinted at more changes to come in 2019. But for now, I’d like to go over some recommendations if you need some ideas to fill your shopping cart, as well as what’s on my wish list. I’m filming a haul video and that will go live on my YouTube channel on Thursday, August 30th. If you haven’t already subscribed to my channel, please consider doing so! As of writing this post I’m almost at 100,000 subscribers and as soon as I’m comfortably at that magic number, I have some BIG giveaways planned!! You can subscribe right

RECOMMENDATIONS
In this list is everything I reach for on a regular basis that can be purchased at Sephora. If you’re going to purchase this, you might as well get it at a discount, right?
(I wear shade Fair)
(I wear shade 15)
(I wear shade Fair Neutral)

(I have been wearing this almost everyday this summer)
Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette
Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day 5-in-1 Styling Cream
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Shampoo
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Conditioner

Clinique Chubby Lash Mascara

Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask (amazing for exfoliating skin)
Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Mask (wakes you up in the morning-keep in the fridge!)

Now for my wish list…I reserve the right to end up hauling things not on this list, because like everyone else as soon as I get in-store and/or get online I will be distracted by a million other things and end up with something that was completely not on my radar. Who else falls victim to this?!

WISHLIST
(do I even need to explain why?!)
Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Lightning Dust/Fire Crystal (because it’s shiny and pretty)
(on the fence-but it looks so glowy and pretty)
Jouer Blush Bouquet (see above reason)
Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter Eye Shadow (I am a sucker for cream shadows that glitter/shimmer)
(an all brown warm palette? Yes, please!)
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer (recently friends have raved about it and I feel like I need to revisit it)
BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer (I want a lighter weight type foundation)
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day In-Shower Styler (if this works, this could be life-changing)
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Body Builder (also brand new, love this line from them)
Dior Backstage Eyeshadow Palette-Warm (again, total sucker for a warm shadow palette)
Dior Backstage Glow Face Palette (highlighters, blush and bronzer all in one palette)

We all know I could go on for days with a wish list and recommendation from Sephora. Or from anywhere that sells beauty products. It’s our happy place! How fun would it be for us all to meet up at a Sephora and just hang out? Since that isn’t likely to happen, be sure to comment below and let me know what you’re eyeing for your shopping list! I’d love to get your recommendations too!

  1. Thanks for the opinions Marnie. Always value your thoughts on products. I will definitely keep them in mind. Have a few higher priced Drunk Elephant products in my basket for starters. I do love the pumpkin enzyme mask and will most likely replenish!

  2. Definitely get the Jouer Bouquet Palette! It is so pretty on! I was a bit afraid of that bright pink, but it wears very well!
    Thanks for sharing your recs!!!
